Georgia Fintech Academy and Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business Host “CoinToss” Stablecoin Debate at Center Parc Stadium
Atlanta, GA | November 14, 2025
The Georgia Fintech Academy, in partnership with Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business, welcomed more than 120 industry leaders, students, and faculty on November 14 for “CoinToss,” a half-day event dedicated to exploring the future of stablecoins across payments, the economy, and financial services innovation.
The program featured three sessions moderated by experts across the fintech and payments ecosystem, along with interactive audience polling and open discussion. Panelists represented organizations including Visa, Corpay, Synovus, Fiserv, Georgia’s Own Credit Union, Stripe, H2cryptO, RaceTrac, Juniper Payments, Academy Securities, and others.
Across the morning, several themes consistently surfaced. Speakers emphasized that stablecoin adoption will likely evolve over time rather than transform the market overnight. They also noted that global markets with lower trust in legacy systems are creating some of the strongest use cases today. A key point raised throughout the discussions was that customers ultimately decide what wins in the marketplace and that adoption tends to follow convenience, trust, and clear value. Many speakers also pointed to the possibility that stablecoins may power future products and services that are difficult to imagine today.
The full event debrief, including session summaries, poll insights, Glen Sarvady’s opening presentation, and recommended reading, is available here:
